Rosemary Dickens

Documentarian : Myth-Weaver : Artist

My grandma, Rosemary Dickens, was a prolific and deeply talented artist.

I feel lucky to follow in her footsteps—two generations connected by a love of storytelling, nature, and expressive form.

Since she passed away, I’ve been curating her incredible body of work so her legacy and dedication to craft can live on. Honestly, it’s far too good not to share!

Her art spans illustrated diaries, ceramics, collages, and nature-inspired series such as Lime Kiln Down. At the centre sits her most ambitious work, The Dragon Trail - a journey through the Wessex landscape, folklore, and imagination that took her 25 years to complete.

My aim is to bring these works into the present with care and clarity, preserving their spirit while sharing them with new audiences through exhibitions, storytelling, and as inspiration within my own practice.
